A beautiful Victorian inspired locket made in the late 20th Century. It’s fashioned in sterling silver and embossed with two stripes decorated with Ivy leaves which represent an unbreakable bond, as in the Victorian rhyme “Close clings the ivy to the tree, so in my heart I cling to thee”.
The piece is fitted with a detailed bale displaying Birmingham hallmarks and the makers initials on the back. It opens and closes securely and is complete with two windows within for photos to be stored and treasured.
