An exquisite antique Victorian locket from the late 19th Century featuring a large rock crystal dome in the centre haloed by lustrous pearls.
The back window can be removed so that a photograph or lock of hair can be inserted inside. The front crystal dome provides a clear window to the image at the back and magnifies and enhances it.
The windows are framed in 18ct gold and fitted with a diamond studded bale at the top and a pin at the back so it can be worn as a pendant or brooch.
